Living The Dream

Living The Dream

It was five years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer ~ STAGE 2. Now I am living a dream watching my daughter walk down the aisle. Five years ago it was only a dream that I did not think that I would have been part of and it was fabulous seeing my daughter and her father walk hand in hand to another journey of her life.

I was very fortunate that I have a family that was supportive and knew that I did not want to be treated the conventional way. The type of treatment that I chose is something that I have learned to continue to manage to keep the cancer from coming back. It’s a life choice and knowledge is power. This is what saved me from dying and able to be around to see memories grow between me and Danielle my daughter.

I am so proud of what we both accomplished, her life professionally and personally. I for managing my treatment and to continue to educate others on the path to good health. With the help from you, I have started a petition to avoid the cost of life and to have your insurance companies allow for other than surgery, chemo and radiation. We as a whole have to start somewhere and with your help we can make this happen. Another project under way is starting a nonprofit organization.

This organization is going to be a big task for I am gathering up scientific physicians as well as alternative doctors to be part of this organization. My goal is to create a list of physicians that do treatment other than surgery, chemo and radiation. Treatments that do not have side effects and damage one’s body. With this list any one can come to the organization on the web site and get numbers to contact them personally along with free education regarding the treatment. The other step to this goal is to get companies that are health minded to contribute to the cause and donate money so people that are diagnosed with cancer that would like to be treated without the conventional way and that are unable to afford other types of treatments, there will be funds to help them. Last put most important is there will be counseling for family member’s as well as the patients to seek encouragement so that you will not be alone in this fight to manage the cancer.

I look back at my decisions and realize that I could have done the same as the rest of my family has done and seek the conventional medicine. Whether, or not this message or writing might have not of taken place. My husband and daughter are my two most important fans and without them I would have never been able to make this change. So this year means so much to me being able to enjoy my daughter’s wedding and participate in going with her to get her nails, hair and makeup done along with experience all the wedding plans and helping out with all the extra’s.

Please help me continue to educate others and given someone, maybe you an opportunity in a better quality of life.

It is not length of life, but depth of life.
